Privacy policy
Calculator privacy
You can use every Mittafin calculator without creating an account. Calculator inputs and results are processed to render the calculator in your browser and are not intentionally sent to analytics or error-monitoring providers. Share URLs may keep encoded calculator state in the address bar so you can return to a model, and the app strips query strings before analytics or error events are sent.
Product analytics
When configured, Mittafin uses PostHog for product analytics, such as page paths, calculator names, whether a calculator was started or completed, and general browser or device metadata. Analytics is used to understand what is useful, find broken flows, and improve the product. PostHog is not used to unlock paid calculator access.
Analytics is designed to be anonymous or pseudonymous rather than account-specific. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, calculator inputs, or calculator results in analytics events. Autocapture, automatic pageview capture, and page leave capture are disabled in the current web app. Session recording is disabled in the current web app.
Error monitoring
When configured, Mittafin uses Sentry to detect application errors and performance problems. Sentry may receive technical information such as the affected page path, browser details, stack traces, timestamps, and error context. Sentry is configured not to send default personally identifying information, and Mittafin strips query strings and referrer headers before events are sent.
Cookies and browser storage
Mittafin may use cookies, localStorage, and similar browser storage. PostHog may use browser storage and cookies for analytics identifiers when analytics is enabled. Supabase may use authentication cookies or storage if you choose to sign in. Stripe may set cookies or use its own fraud-prevention technology when it processes a payment.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, analytics does not load for your visit.
Optional accounts and payment
Signing in is optional and is only needed for features like saving a model or completing a one-time Lifetime Unlock purchase. If you choose to sign in, we use Supabase to handle authentication and store the minimum account data needed to identify you and your saved models. Payment is handled directly by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details.
Retention and choices
We keep account, payment, analytics, and error-monitoring data only as long as needed to operate Mittafin, understand product health, meet legal or accounting obligations, and protect the service. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete account information associated with your email address by contacting us.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use calculator inputs or results for profiling, advertising, or training models. Analytics and error-monitoring providers may process data in the United States or other countries where they operate.
